My interests include the philosophical foundations of peace education. I am interested in exploring the interface between ethics, political philosophy and educational theory, including the theory and practice of an education for peace. I am also interested in the exploration of consciousness as self-reflective and the various ways that consciousness can be experienced and developed.

Both my study and practice of peace education has its origins in the practice of meditation as a means for the expansion of consciousness. My core motivating belief is that the consciousness and the internal moral, intellectual, and spiritual capacities necessary for the pursuit of peace and justice in the world can be developed through specific educational practices. I am devoted to understanding, developing, and implementing those practices.

The publication of two volumes of Betty Reardon's work: Betty A. Reardon: A Pioneer in Education for Peace and Human Rights and Betty A. Reardon: Key Texts in Gender and Peace , as well as an edited book Exploring Betty A. Reardon's Perspective on Peace Education, Co-authoring with Fuad Al-Daraweesh Human Rights Education Beyond Universalism and Relativism: A Relational Hermeneutic for Global Justice, and co-authoring with Janet Gerson, Reclaimative Post-Conflict Justice: Democratizing Justice in the World Tribunal on Iraq.
